Here's the second card from the Buns and Roses workshop. This was the quickest project out of the four tables, which was good, as it gave the ladies a chance to catch up! This was the only card that used the Big Shot, I think they all liked having a go at embossing and die cutting. The Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder was used for the panel in the centre. The card used was Whisper White, Crumb Cake and Gumball Green. The other exciting part of this card was that it was spritzed with the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint, which gave a lovely shimmery finish.
Here's a close up of the die cut snowflake, and you can see the Glimmer Brad in the middle. These are nice sparkly brads, and come in gold, silver, champagne, black and gray.
Here's a close up of the greeting, from the Curly Cute stamp set, in Whisper White ink. The edges of the card were daubed with the Daubers and the ink, to give a snowy frosty effect.

Crafternoon Tea Class - Easy Events
A few weeks ago, my friend and downline Kylie held her first official craft event. I went along for a bit of moral support, and to do a bit of crafting and eating buns, sarnies and a cuppa or two. The event went really well, and it was a full house with about 14 people attending. We made three simple projects, she'd kept them easy so we had plenty of time to eat and chat too!
The first card I'll share from the day uses the stamp set Easy Events. I don't have this set, but I love using it. There's a stamp with a sentiment for every occasion, Birthdays, Weddings, Christmas, Baby, Thank You, and lots more that could be used for any occasion. They're great images too, everyone likes a bit of colouring in now and again don't they?
The card stock was Melon Mambo, with a layer of Whisper White that had been embossed using the Big Shot and the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. I used the Hello image of a cuckoo clock on my card. A bow was tied around the image layer, using the Melon Mambo Scallop Dots Ribbon. For a bit of bling, a Rhinestone Jewel was placed on the top of the cuckoo clock image.

Regional Training - Name Badge
Another one of the requirements to attend the Regional Training in Leeds on Saturday was to make our own name badges to bring with us. I had too many ideas for this, and after much deliberation, this is the design I came up with. I used the Labels Collection Framelit Dies, and cut out the largest in Pool Party and the next size down in Whisper White, which was also embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. I used the Pennant Parade stamp set and the Petite Pennants builder punch with the new In Colours to make the bunting flags. The Just Perfect Alphabet was used to stamp the letters in Basic Gray, and cut with the 3/4" Circle punch. Finally, the Beautiful Wings Embosslit die was used to cut the butterflies in Pool Party.
