I held a Jubilee themed card class at Dock Street Market on Tuesday, and here's one of the cards we made. The colour combo is Riding Hood Red, Not Quite Navy and Crumb Cake. The card has a fold in the middle of the card, I fancied making something a bit different to the standard shaped cards. I used Artistic Etchings, and stamped the Crumb Cake with the crown stamp, and also with the small crown from Elementary Elegance, a Sale-a-bration stamp set. The Perfect Pennants die was used to cut out the Not Quite Navy scalloped circle, and the 1-3/4" Circle punch was used the punch out the Riding Hood Red. Another crown was stamped and cut around, and had Rhinestone Jewels added for an extra bit of bling. The edges of the Crumb cake and the circles were sponged with Crumb Cake ink and the Sponge Daubers to add a vintage feel to the card.

Fox & Friends Stamp-a-stack card
Here's the second of the cards from the last Stamp-a-stack class. It uses the Fox & Friends stamp set, a great set for children's cards. The card used was Tempting Turquoise and Real Red with Whisper White, and a strip of Old Olive. The Ink used were Tempting Turquoise for the whales, Early Espresso for the monkeys, Old Olive for the turtles and Daffodil Delight for the giraffes. The Crimper was used to make the crimped effect on the strip of Old Olive, a simple way of adding a little more detail to your cards and projects. The Happy Birthday Wishes greeting is from the Petite Pairs stamp set.

Stamp a stack - Cupcakes Card
Here's the final card from the Stamp-a-stack session. It uses two of my favourite items at the moment, the Cupcake punch and the Create a Cupcake Stamp Set. These are only available until the end of April, I'll miss them a lot. For this card, Pool Party, Chocolate Chip and Regal Rose card stock were used. I learnt a new technique with this card, called Inlaid Embossing. Various sizes of circles were punched and then glued to the Whisper White card stock, then the whole thing was run through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice embossing folder. The Large Scallop Circle Punch, another product that will not be available after the end of the month, was used to mount the cupcake. To finish it off, the Satin Ribbon was attached, and the Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped and punched with the Large Oval Punch and the Scallop Oval Punch. I'll be making this card again soon!

Creatively Yours Set
This is another project that I was kept busy with at Kylie's when we had our craftathon weekend! I'd seen this on Pinterest, and thought I'd give it a go. The 2011-2013 In Colours were used, stamped onto Whisper White card stock.
The "Handmade" banner stamp was cut around and placed onto a flag cut in the same colour card stock, and stuck onto a cocktail stick.
The "Made with my own two hands" stamp was stamped and punch with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch and the Scallop Circle Punch.
There was a bit of cutting out to do for the "Made just for you" stamp, and I added a flower punched with the Itty Bitty Bits punch, and added a Rhinestone Jewel in the centre.
The "Handstamped" stamp was just cut around.
The "Deliciously made for you" stamp was punched with the Large Oval Punch and the Scallop Oval Punch, as was the "From the kitchen of"
The "Created By" stamp was punched with the Decorative Label Punch, and ink applied around the edge with the Sponge Daubers.
Here they all are together as a set. These would look great attached to home made produce or gifts, or just used as sentiments on the back of a card. For any of you crafters out there that sell your crafts, Stampin' Up! operate under the angel policy, which means you can sell products you have made with Stampin' Up! images, as long as it displays one of the (c) Stampin' Up! images on it to protect their copyright.

Bird House
Here's another one of the projects that I made during my crafty weekend with Kylie a few weeks ago. I made a bird house using the mini milk carton die. I used Very Vanilla card stock, stamped with Crumb Cake ink with the Woodgrain background stamp. I used Soft Suede for the roof, and the Scallop Edge Border Punch on the edges. The hole was cut with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch, and a piece of acetate was placed behind the hole. The carton was filled with mini eggs. The Bird punch was used to cut the bird, in Rose Red and Pink Pirouette card stock, with Certainly Celery for the branch.
Paper / Card Stock - Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, Certainly Celery
Stamp Set - Woodgrain background stamp
Embellishments - Rhinestone Jewels
Tools - Big Shot, Mini Milk Carton die, Bird Punch, Scallop Edge Border Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch
Inks / Markers - Soft Suede

Sunflower cards for Mother’s Day
Inspired by a card I found on Pinterest, I've made two cards using the Flowers, Daisies #2 die to make sunflowers. They use the colour combo of More Mustard, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake.
The first card has one large sunflower. The middle was cut with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch, and embossed with the Square Lattice embossing folder. The Modern Label Punch and the Word Window punch were used for the Happy Mother's Day sentiment, from Teeny Tiny Wishes, and the Crop-a-dile was used to make the holes where the linen thread was placed though.
The second card has three of the medium sized flowers, and the centre was cut with the 3/4" Circle Punch. The Bird Punch was used to cut leaves from Certainly Celery card stock, and the Scallop Oval Punch and the Large Oval Punch were used to cut the Just For You sentiment, again from the Teeny Tiny wishes set.
I'd better get up now, this is a scheduled post I wrote on Saturday, as I didn't want my Mum to see her card before she opened it! I'm at hers for the weekend, and we're off to see some lambs today at Wimpole Hall. No doubt there will be photos, I'll have to think of a sheep related card I can make.
I'll be making these again, perhaps next time I'll use a brighter yellow, So saffron or Daffodil Delight for a more summery feeling.

Aviary card
Last night I attended another one of Julie Kettlewell's stamp-a-stack card classes, we made twelve cards in three hours, two each of six designs. I'll be posting these over the next week or so.
The first I'd like to share uses the Aviary stamp set, one that I own, and can't wait to try this design again. The colour combo on this card was Melon Mambo, Pool Party, Lucky Limeade with Crumb Cake. The Scallop Edge Border Punch was used, and the large Scallop Punch was used for around the owl and cage. The sentiment is from Petite Pairs, which is a nice set, it comes with sentiments for the outside and inside of your cards. To finish off the card, Old Olive Taffeta ribbon was used to make a bow for the top of the cage, and for the top left corner with a Rich Razzleberry button.

Embellishments - Old Olive 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Brights Designer Buttons
Tools - Large Scallop Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Scallop Edge Border Punch
