Stamp a Stack - New Catalogue

I'm not keeping up with these blogs posts very well at the moment am I?! After a busy month or two with the Light Night Craft Garden, and the two weddings, I've given myself a well deserved rest.

As a good way of getting my crafting mojo back, on Monday I attended Julie Kettlewell's Stamp a Stack card making class.  We made 12 cards, 6 designs, in three hours.

Here are the cards we made - aren't they nice!

The first card is made using the Polar Party stamp set, with Lucky Limeade and Real Red cardstock.  The borders were made with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch, and finished with a bow made from the 3/8" (1cm) Ruffled Ribbon in Lucky Limeade.

The second card is made using the Everything Eleanor stamp set, with the sentiment from the For My Family stamp set.  The card stock is Soft Suede and Very Vanilla, using Early Espresso and Crumb Cake inks.

The third card is made with the Pennant Parade Stamp Set and Builder Punch, using Indigo Island, Lucky Limeade and Cajun Craze inks and card stock.  The sentiment is from the Hostess Set - Happiest Birthday Wishes.  In between the bunting flags, are stars stamped with Crumb Cake using Itty Bitty Bits Stamp Set and the circle from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack.  I love this stamp and punch set, the possibilities with it are endless!

The fourth card is made using the Ain't Love Grand Hostess Stamp Set, with Calypso Coral and Pool Party card stock, and So Saffron paper from the Subtles Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack.  I like this stamp set - cute images that can be used for all sorts of cards.

The fifth card is made using the Delicate Doilies stamp set, and uses the colours Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade and Indigo Island.  The sentiment in the middle uses the Hostess Set Happiest Birthday Wishes, punched with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch, and is layered on top of the Scallop Circle punch and a shape from the Perfect Pennants Bigz Die.  I enjoyed making this card, I don't usually try out much freestyle stamping, I really like the effect and will try it out more often.
